The continued success of Buy the Farm prompted Apple to compile the next collection. Paul said that, perhaps, they should change the name, as they weren't really putting out Beatle product. The next compilation was to feature a parody of an earlier album, a theme that would be revisited many times. The collection, tentatively titled With the Quarrymen Quartet and Ensemble, was shelved after a few hundred copies were pressed and distributed to fan club members and the music press similar to the Hot As Sun LP. As with Hot As Sun the selections were straight album cuts from the solo albums. EMI and Capital sensed that the collection wasn’t strong enough.
