Paul was contacted by the producers of the James Bond series to come up with the next theme song. They even got George Martin involved. When Paul showed up at the session with his band, to the producer’s dismay, it was Wings. Still the classic song was cut, and became a #1 for Wings.

Paul's reunion with George Martin inspired the next collection, again a little late for the holidays, Live and Let Die with a parody cover of the Roger Moore movie poster, which John ironically adored. Paul later had stated he would have attempted to assemble the Beatles to actually contribute to the title single, but Wings got the job done.
