Beatles Solo One
-released July 2001

Following the dark days of 1980 the remaining three Beatles reunited for a new single released as a George solo hit. Paul, George and Ringo were working on a couple of other tracks and decided to put out one last collection. Apple also released a collector’s single, but the two songs had already charted as solo songs. The three nearly were talked into an impromptu sing-along at Live Aid in 1985, but George left quietly before Paul’s scheduled closing of the show. Julian Lennon also refused to join the group on stage, although he was backstage.
